The heritage dates back to around 450 years ago, which started in the Middle East.
The family migrated to Unaan in the middle ages and thrived in the knowledge pond of Ancient Greek medicine.
The family moved to Hindustan (India) from Unaan.
It was the 16th century when Babur laid the foundation of the Mughal region when the Murad family served and assisted the Royalty.
The earliest generations of the Murad family also gave their services to the bureaucrats and the British officers.
By then, the family practitioners had perfected the art of the Greek-Arab system of medicine, and in 1887, Mukhtar Ahmad Sahab started his clinic in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
In recognition of the services provided by the Ahmad family, Mr. Hakim Mukhtar Ahmad Sahab was honored with the certificate of recognition in the year 1939.
Mr. Hakeem Khursheed Murad represented the 11th in line. He earned his medical degree in BIMS, which is an integrated degree in medicine and surgery.
Dr. Murad and his father have been honored with prestigious awards received from well-renowned ministers of the country.
The family’s commendable work has been recognized and acknowledged by top-class authorities of the country, including the Vice president, Cabinet Ministers, and Governors.
The Murad family is a well-known name among the most famous people of India. Their services were acknowledged by Indira Gandhi in the year 1980. Also, they hold cordial relations with many top-notch celebrities of India.
